Starting the day with a positive mindset sets the tone for the rest of the day.  I love to sit with one of my cute mugs before the day starts and take a minute to be still and centered and listen to what the birds have to say.  I try to start every  morning  with hot water, lots of lemon and LOTS of cayenne. Cayenne is a miracle pepper with so many health benefits. It is excellent for metabolism and digestion, plus it gets your blood flowing (great for circulation).   If you don’t like spicy you can build up to the amount you use, and just use a ton of lemon. Lemons are also so good for you. They are packed with vitamin C and are great for digestion. I especially like lemons because of their  alkalizing powers and how they help restore the bodies PH. Basically this is a great little detox drink to flush out toxins and start your day off right!

After I drink my cayenne tea I then make a  cup of hot organic loose leaf tea (so many amazing different teas to choose from).  After my teas,  I’ll make one of my smoothies or a green juice when im hungry. I  like to ease my stomach back into solids after resting it for the last 12 hours or so. I love my morning routine And as life has been getting busier lately I have been appreciating it more.
Cayenne has over 50 health benefits!  Just to name a few that I think are the most important…

blood pressure
your heart
helping with headaches
when your sick to get rid of mucas (ew)
some people say it kills cancer cells (for lung cancer especially)
FUN FACT: This is kinda sick but if you have some bloody wound and stick cayenne pepper on it, it supposedly stops the bleeding. I have no idea if this stings like hell or not, but its supposed to keep your wound from scarring. So basically if I was going to be stranded on an island and could only bring 3 things, cayenne might make the list.
